What is Gut health?

Ideally, our organs such as the stomach and intestines will work together to digest the foods we eat without discomfort. However, there are many people especially children still encounter gut health problems with digestive diseases and this will pretty affect their immune systems. A gut health can also refer to physical state and physiologic functions of many parts of the gastrointestinal tract. Base on the studies, many of bad conditions such as heartburn, bloating, loose stools and constipation can be caused by an unhealthy gut.

A healthy gut can help you in digestions, the foods would be broken down in the gut to a simple form to enter the bloodstream and this enables the delivery of the nutrients to our bodies. Of course, this is only possible when your gut is in good conditions. In addition, a healthy gut also contain healthy bacteria and immune cells against infection agents like viruses, bacteria and fungi. A healthy gut also communicates with our brain through nerves and hormones in order to maintain general health and well being.

6 SIMPLE STEPS

1.Avoid overeating
Your child’s digestive system will be pretty affected by overeating palatable foods especially those foods are high in fat and sugar suppresses. The digestive system will properly release hormones that stimulate hunger and satiety to cause your child’s gut to become unhealthy and affect your child’s immune system.

2.No fast foods and No processed foods
Fast foods and processed foods will negatively alter the microbiol by increasing the bacteria with obesity and reducing overall gut bacteria diversity. Consuming fast foods and processed foods are actually contributing obesity cases in the world and this is one of the main reasons to damage your gut and become overweight.

3.Drink plenty of water at appropriate times
The example of drink plenty fluids at appropriate times can be like drink one glass of water 30 minutes before a meal to help better digestion. You and your child is recommended not to drink to soon before or after a meal to have better digestion and improve the gut health.

4.Exercise regularly
Researcher is empathized that exercise regularly will actually improve gut health. Based on studies, researchers noticed changes in the gut microbiol after six weeks of exercise and the digestive system will be improved as well. However, the gut performance will return to normal after exercise is dropped or stop exercising regularly (Vincenzo et.al 2017).

5.Consume high fiber foods
High fiber foods are literally fed and make good bacteria thrive and increase in number and kind and the studies are proven that high fiber foods are intimately tied with the importance of your gut microbes and this can improve overall digestive system. Fiber also helps to keep the digestive tract flowing and keep your bowel movements soft and regular.

  1. Get good bacteria into your kids

Get a good bacteria into your kids will increase more microbes in the intestines, the mucus wall also become thicker to increase the barrier between body and busy bacteria populations. The mucus barrier lowers inflammation throughout the body and the good bacteria aid in digestion. This will improve your child’s digestive system and boots immune system to against virus.
